One of the main reasons I purchase Western Digital drives is their software, Data likeguard Tools, it makes installing a new boot drive very easy.
First attempt to install a new hard drive (old one failed) and perform a system recovery. This hard drive was quick and easy to install and the recovery disks did most of the work. The only snag was I needed to install a jumper on the new drive. Computer is back up and operational. This is a great product at a very reasonable price!
I purchased two of these drives, one for me and one for my wife. I have had trouble loosing data in the past and did not want it to happen again. So far it has done a good job of backing up our computers.
Western Digital drives are the best I have used... they are the only one I will install in my business I have only had 1 (one) problem in 11 years were I have to replace a Western Digital drive...
great hard drive very quiet had no problem with this product during install . couldnt clone my old drive to the new drive having many bad sectors . so i just installed XP on the new drive and copied all my program files over worked great..copy and paste and look on youtube for help. now im going to buy another at this price and talk about fast . ordered for in store pickup and bam there the next day.impressed thanks wally world.
